what: Journée d'étude : A la découverte de l'art numérique et du Net art : le web matériau de création

Comment le web est-il utilisé comme matériau de création par les artistes ? Quels outils pour quelles propositions artistiques se créent sur le réseau aujourd'hui ? Des mouvements artistiques y sont-ils lisibles ? S'y dégage-t-il des œuvres « majeures » ? Quelles correspondances l'art numérique et le Net art établissent-ils avec les formes d'art qui leurs sont préexistantes ? Et, qu'en est-il du devenir de l'archivage de ces œuvres matériellement inédites ?

Historiens, critiques, artistes et enseignants sont réunis autour de ces questions afin de faire découvrir ou mieux connaître les œuvres, multimédia et informatiques, présentées sur support ou via Internet.
