With the HolyChic project I wanted to show the most innovative and inspiring aspects of contemporary Paris.
I like to believe that Paris is more than a historical village or city of fashion and food. For me it's also the world epicentre of cutting-edge creative ideas in contemporary art, technology, lifestyle, marketing and design.
HolyChic is the cultural ezine which helps connect creative professionals worldwide in need of inspiration with the hipper side of the city.
Stay tuned if you still believe that Balzac, Camus, Duchamp, Foucault, Barthes, Bataille and Baudrillard haunt the streets of Paris, but also if you want to find out what's happening, hot and swinging in today's Rastignacville.
I graduated from the Faculty of Philosophy, University of Belgrade majoring in philosophy and art history. In the early 80s, I began writing movie and art reviews for various newspapers and magazines.
From 1987 to my moving to Paris, I worked for one of the largest movie companies in former Yugoslavia as a script reader, marketing manager and acquisition executive, while continuing to write articles on art, cinema and media for magazines and Belgrade television.
After I moved to Paris in the early 90s, I worked as a journalist and translator [I had the privilege of translating Jean Baudrillard’s texts with Baudrillard’s personal support]
When I finished my studies at the Ecole Multimédia in Paris in 1997, I was employed as a digital project manager at Opposite Design for several years.
Starting in 2000, I was a new media strategist, online project manager and online PR and communication manager for such clients as : Elisabeth de Senneville, Andrée Putman, Brefico Luxe and Archives & Documentation Francoise Dolto. I also worked in the galerie Port Autonome in Paris as curator and gallery manager.
And for several years, I was engaged as a journalist and consultant for various Paris-based trend agencies.
Currently I'm working as free-lance web project manager and online global communication consultant & manager.
